Christmas is just around the corner and Christmas lights are everywhere!  If you are looking for a place to take the family to view some awesome Christmas Lights displays around St. Louis, keep reading!  If you are running low on time or energy to decorate the outside of the house with strands of blinking lights, you can take a drive instead and admire thousands of perfectly hung Christmas lights!  You can follow the link on each title to the website for more information about each event.

 

Way of Lights – Bellville, IL

Admission – FREE.  Donations are accepted as you leave and everyone who donates at least $12 will get a plush animal toy as a gift.

More than Christmas Lights – Puppet show, nativity scene made of Legos, animal rides and a petting zoo.

Admission – $20 for family cars and $30 for limos, commercial vans and small buses.

More than Christmas Lights – Train and Wagon Rides (skip the car ride and see the lights by wagon or train.  Groups of 9 or less is $13 per person and 10 or more is $10 per person.), Kringle’s General Store (gifts, toys and holiday décor), Snack Shack and pictures with Santa.

Winter Wonderland – Tilles Park – St. Louis County, MO

Admission – $10 for family cars, $40 for commercial vans and $90 for tour buses.

More than Christmas Lights – Horse drawn carriage rides.  You must make advance reservations.  Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only.

Garden Glow – Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, MO

Admission – Nov 21- Dec 17- $16 per person ($12 for garden members), $10 for children 3-12.  Dec 18 – until close – $18 for adults ($14 for garden members) and children prices remain the same.

More than Christmas Lights – Tower Grove House – Victorian Candlelight Christmas with live music, food, shopping and outdoor fire pits.  Gardenland Express Holiday Train Show – Miniature trains riding through holiday scenes ($5 admission).  Storytelling on Wednesdays & Saturdays at 11 am.

Wildlights – St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis, MO

Admission – Weekdays – $8, weekend (Friday-Sunday) $10, children 2 and under are free.

More than Christmas Lights – Puppet show, crafts and storytelling by the fire.  The Conservation Carousel is open as well as Lakeside Café.

Admission – $7 per car, vehicles with 10+ people add $1 per person.
