People in St. Louis have several loves: provel cheese, toasted ravioli, and local sports. While we’re sadly nearing the end of Cardinal season, it’s almost time to put on our hockey jerseys and cheer for the Blues. While we’re still in the preseason, here are a few rules to go over to ensure you’re ready for the upcoming months.

Rules for Sitting Behind the Glass

  1. Respect all fans. Yes, the person in the row behind you might be sporting a Blackhawks jersey. While this is annoying, ignore them and treat them with kindness. This will be helpful for when they have to deal with their team losing yet another game.
  2. Chants and cheers are necessary! It doesn’t matter how comfortable you are. Sitting down during a powerplay will result in a wasted advantage. Don’t be afraid to get loud!
  3. Don’t miss out on the food. The Enterprise Center has some St. Louis staples set up around the building. Whether you find yourself craving some Schlafly beer, Lion’s Choice roast beef, or a Hi-Pointe burger, the arena has you covered!
  4. Leave Jon Hamm Alone. Should you see the St. Louis legend, shoot him a subtle wave and then let him enjoy the game. His presence is crucial for a Blues Victory.
  5. Never Give Up Hope. Good things come to those who wait. The score might feel hopeless, but the Blues thrive on pressure. If the team can wait 52 years for its first Stanley Cup, you can hold out hope for this period of overtime.

Follow these five rules, and you’re sure to have your best hockey season yet!
